This Force and Motion student-illustrated dictionary allows students to draw pictures for definitions as they learn through classroom experiences. Use as a bell ringer, closure, or learning log activity to allow students to demonstrate understanding. (Definitions are already included in the booklet for students so that they can spend their time on learning and illustrating!)
With the definitions provided already, students can focus on creating illustrations to demonstrate the force and motion content they have learned.
You can use the dictionary to debrief or close your lesson by having students complete the illustrations for terms that you taught throughout that lesson, or you can complete the dictionary project as an introduction to force and motion or review for your force and motions unit.
